Musa balbisiana – Thai Black
Musa ‘Thai Black’ has an incredibly ornamental black pesudostem (trunk).
The combination of the plant maturing and brighter light bring out the best in ‘Thai Black’.
The midribs coming from the pesudostem are black and then fade to green about halfway down the leaf.
This is one of the fastest growing banana plants we have seen.
