Red Everbearing Raspberry ‘Caroline’ – Rubus idaeus ‘Caroline’
The Everbearing Raspberry, Rubus idaeus ‘Caroline’ is a fall-fruiting cultivar which produces high yields of large, highly flavored, red raspberries, perfect for fresh eating or preserves.
This upright, self-fruitful(self fertile and Self Pollinating), thorny shrub has a shorter harvest season than most and produces berries for about eight weeks in late summer.
This is a University of Maryland variety that has proven to be one of the most productive varieties.
It is considered to be the new standard for everbearing varieties.
‘Caroline’ is vigorous and more tolerant of root rot and yellow rust than “Heritage” Raspberry.
Plants are shipped in 2″ pots and are between 3-8″+ tall.
