Sarracenia ‘Bug\u202fBat’, a stunning carnivorous pitcher plant cultivar that has striking red-hooded pitchers, chartreuse bases, and decorative white speckling!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This hybrid pitcher plant features upright, pointed hoods that are cinnamon-red, fading into chartreuse green at the base, with small white \u201cwindows\u201d (areoles) on the hood backs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Believed to be a cross potentially derived from S.\u202falata \u00d7 S.\u202fpsittacina \u00d7 S.\u202fminor var.\u202fokefenokeensis, first cultivated by David Crump (originating from a seedling by Larry Mellichamp).<\/span><\/p>\n
